You've been impressed with what you've seen that the NBC because our come claim. I'm ashamed that I have not been to the NBC. Did I it just I don't understand and I don't get why. Yeah I'm not more drawn to. You know every year. I kinda I don't really look forward to the NBC but then I get out there and you know just like it's like in Italy about school term when you've got 32 teams are always games going on that are inevitably there's going to be interesting things happening. So there's always this competition gap you know and so there's always something going on there's always you know interesting people to talk to is always interesting plays you always go out there and see something that you would rarely see. Now you know I don't think there's any doubt that the that the level of talent is now -- was and that's not just coming from me you know you -- people -- -- -- the NBC for many years and I think. You look at the rosters and a lot of small school guys it's a lot of junior college guys it's a lot of guys from schools are the prominent baseball schools. Which is different there was maybe ten or fifteen years ago and not to some of those guys can't play enough that they aren't you know competitive interesting baseball games. But I think it is different from that standpoint. So they NBC ongoing we've got to who -- in the home stretch now that concludes Saturday night. At a launched Dumont stadium or down to a point now worth three games a night yes that's different. And I think this is when it gets really interesting you know over the weekend. Because I guess my view of the NBC is there's probably I don't know -- you know on -- 32 teams there's maybe ten or twelve that are really. And maybe eight to ten or twelve that are that are really good there really. And then you've kind of got you got to get through that first week and kind of weed out some of the pretenders and and now you're down the point where you've got some really good baseball teams that are still around and it's kind of easy to follow now you can understand who's unbeaten who's kind of in the driver Eaton and who's who's playing from behind. I did not see a lot of interest whatever reason whenever I would go out there He was not around the little that I saw from what I've heard. Physical guy who's gonna rebound and defend and set picks and do all those things I don't think he's super skilled offensively. And again there's a lot of part timers kids I get that I'm talking about that the pros and and that the people who should be out there and in front. I've I've wanted to ask you this question for awhile now. Convince me why. And we'll talk about the potential of the of this lockout dragging into the regular season how many games you think they they could miss. Convince me that the regular season. Is a place to be that I'm missing outs -- by not. Dialing in the regular season of the NBA. Well -- I mean it's like it's like baseball you know you gotta have hope that you in -- and pick up things that are gonna. Matter over the whole course of the season and I think the NBA is like a lot of things. If you watch one game. You know out of context. Not as enjoyable as if you watched the whole you know if you watch a whole series of games and and you began to pick up on things. Which I think this is it was all sports I mean -- you may not. Particularly. If you fall into one which I'll stay injury basketball game -- May not be particularly enjoyable but I think you get more out of it if you watch over them. Over the whole season and you -- news you know pick up you know substitute patterns and who plays well -- situations lineup worked together all those things so. Yeah I mean I wouldn't try to convince you and all 82 and be in her life and death and you know -- -- to answer -- travel on those back to back games because every game played it you know breakneck pace than like against. Now but I think a lot of them -- and I find it entertaining. You're not the first person to say what about baseball 162 games He kidding how do you get in in that regular season to differences. Few teams get into the playoffs and baseball as an especially proportionately there 50% of the NBA that are gonna get in -- the playoffs. There are. Just over 25%. That are gonna make it in baseball that's one difference the second differences how much the numbers mean in baseball how much of statistics. Mean in baseball. You know you got guys pursuing stats winning games of those kinds of things and they accumulate. I don't know I guess I I see your point to a degree I'm trying to provide them a bit of a difference as -- why I can get into a baseball. Regular season which is an endurance test as this NBA. And maybe not so much in the NBA because I know. I know where I'm gonna see it in the NBA is in the playoffs. I'll put the NBA playoffs against almost anything in sports I think that I good. They're so much better than the regular season but you being a Suns fan who knows when he'll be able to follow them in the playoffs again. That's it's a fair point and I'm not -- baseball I just think the sports are similar in that if you're a fan of a specific team it's great to solid day today because you enjoy that. You know it's not a -- of us as a team than you know one game. Doesn't matter a whole lot and they you know they all kind of seeing the same until they get to you know dramatic point in the playoffs -- -- those kind of things certainly those are fair points. What you always see an NBA game again your your best guess. I don't know everything I read is all over the map to get. Few people are optimistic.
